My year in photos

Dear Universe,


I'd to say thank you for 2011 despite the roller coaster ride of emotions.

My sisters graduated from college,

an exhibit with Wes, and his solo show too!

Cool art projects and exhibits,

and being part of a band.

Visited new places and met new friends with Wesley,

  

and reconnected with old friends as well.

I feel so blessed that I was able to spend time with my family 

and celebrate special moments with them.

Another blessing is spending time with my friends whom I treat as family.

The only thing that dampened my year other than the natural calamities was this,

but I look forward to 2012, with new dreams to fulfill and challenges to conquer.

Nam June Paik

Our trip to Korea was mostly a tour on art and culture. We got acquainted with some contemporary artists, ceramicist, painters, sculptors and my favorite was seeing actual works of the most popular Korean artist Nam June Paik. 


On our last day in Korea, we were brought to his museum. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was so moving that I felt like crying.


Here are some photos of the museum (most of the pics are blurred because they don't allow flash and the museum is dark) and a photo from his most popular work in the contemporary museum.

on new friendships
